This year's judge is the incredibly talented Lindsey Drager.
Lindsey Drager is the author of the novels The Lost Daughter Collective (Dzanc, 2017) and The Sorrow Proper (Dzanc, 2015), winner of the Binghamton University John Gardner Fiction Prize, recipient of Silver in the 2015 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Award in Literary Fiction, and now available in braille. She has been a Tennessee Williams Scholar at the Sewanee Writers Conference and has received fully funded residencies from the Vermont Studio Center, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and the I-Park Foundation. In 2017, she presented work and served on panels at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, the International Society for the Study of Narrative Convention, the NonfictioNow Conference in Reykjavík, Iceland, and elsewhere. She is at work on a novel-in-stories tentatively titled The Archive of Alternative Endings, which offers queer retellings of the Hansel and Gretel narrative over the course of a millennium told in 75-year increments that correspond with the passing of Halley’s comet.
